Life these days!

So much has happened since I posted last. Where to begin...?? I guess I could start with the horrible virus that Emma had that brought her to the pediatric ER!! I went to my 28wk dr appt and the hubby calls to tell me that she's vomiting! I think maybe something just didn't sit right with her tummy. It's happened before with milk so maybe that's what it is. Then she precedes to continue throwing up throughout the day so we take her to the ER that night. They give her some zofran and send us on our way because she has stopped. Well all day Saturday she doesn't throw up..massive amounts of poop but no vomit!! (Gross I know) Right before bed she throws up one time and then that's it off to bed she went and was fine. Sunday comes and oh lordy!! She has fluid coming from both ends and is so lifeless its scary! Her little eyes were black and she would lay down under the kitchen table or lay over on the couch and just pass out. We took her back to the Pediatric ER and they give her more zofran that doesn't work this time and weigh her....she lost 3lbs in 2 days!! Ahh!!So in comes the ER doc to tell us the obvious..she is extremely dehydrated and is going to have to stay. They get an IV started...which by the way is the worst experience I've had with this child so far...and send us upstairs to a room about midnight! Eventually they got enough IV fluids in her to get her weight back up and be discharged but boy was it a long process. I'm sure there are so many that have spent many more nights than we did in the hospital with a sick child but either way it is no fun! A week later she went to her pediatrician for a follow up and had gained back up to her 27lbs!! She is just fine now!

I did manage to have a very great turnout for my thirty-one party despite the torrential downpours!! I had alot of great friends come over and enjoy some shopping and snacks. We had a grand total of $800+ in sales so I got a little over $200 in FREEBIES!! I was ecstatic! I got so many cute new things for little Tanner and Emma! And a few for myself! :) My sister has decided to go into selling the products for thirty-one and she's so excited!! I've had a couple friends book parties with her for the next couple months so that's a great start for her!
Poor Jason had to work a shut down the past 2wks so he's worked 12hrs 14days straight. He's so tired and ready for a day off! Which happens to be this weekend for him. He's going to enjoy some "guy time" on the Easter run. Emma & I will be visiting some family Saturday and heading by the cemetery to do some decorating. And Sunday we will all be enjoying family time with Jason's family. Emma's very excited to see her GranGran!

School is slowly coming to a close for the semester...yippee!! Only a few more weeks and then finals. I will not be doing any classes this summer so I can enjoy time with my new little man! Which should be arriving if all goes well around the end of May!! We are so excited yet I'm very nervous for a repeat c-section. I'm almost 31 wks and we'll be delivering at 38 or 39 wks so it's getting very close. I have lots to do between now and then though. Since everything we own is girly and pink we've got to get alot of new stuff! We're hoping to have the baby shower at the beginning of May so we're getting everything in time. We have been buying stuff here and there but I never realized how much girl stuff we had until now. Yard sale is coming soon though! haha! It will be just as easy to sell what we have and use the money to buy new instead of hanging on to all of it.
I suppose my rambling should come to an end after all I have school in just a couple hrs!! Hope everyone has a great week!!
